Vik Murthy

LREV Land Use & Development Manager

Vik believes passionately in the revitalization of urban spaces, and in real estate development as a means to positively impact a community. He has led teams responsible for multi-million-dollar real estate portfolios, has directed the development of successful commercial projects throughout the Metro-Richmond area and currently serves on the Richmond Planning Commission.

Vik earned an MBA in Real Estate and Land Development and a BS in Accounting, both from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Bruce Smith

LREV Project Manager

Bruce joined Luck Companies 10 years ago, as Project Manager for Growth and Capital Projects. Bruce has 30 years’ experience in the construction industry, including roles as both a General Contractor and business owner. He is an expert at driving project success from design, estimating and scheduling to contract, project and construction management.

Bruce holds a certification as a Class A General Contractor in Virginia and is a LEED Green Associate and Green Globes Professional. He graduated with a BS from Virginia Tech.

Ben Thompson

LREV Director

Ben drives the strategic direction and vision for Luck Real Estate Ventures. He is passionate about smart development contributing to the stewardship of land supporting economic development. Ben’s background is in Urban Planning and he has 20 years’ of professional experience in County Planning and private real estate development. He holds an MSP from the University of Tennessee.
